If you're going to try this one then at least give the samaritans a ring first.
To get there you will need to take the ferry from Southampton. Ferries to the
Isle of White are run by 'Red Funnel' and they have their own website. Here you
can view prices, times, what's on and where to stay. You can even book 'online'
if you want: Red Funnel Ferries Website Take M69 south to A46, past Warwick to M40. Take M40 south, past Banbury to Junction 9. Take A34 past Oxford, past Newbury, to Winchester. Take the M3 south into Southampton. Take the Ferry from Southampton to East Cowes or Cowes (it doesn't matter which). When on the Isle of White follow signs to Newport, and then when in Newport follow signs to Sandown. The Sandown road is St George's Way and the ground is on the left hand side. |
