Signed for Hinckley from Dr Martens Eastern King's Lynn at the start of season 2002/03. The central defender began his career as a trainee at Derby County before moving to Hull City. Joined the ranks of non-league when he joined Arnold Town, but success was to follow after he moved to Grantham Town. He was a part of their Dr Martens Midland Championship side in 1997/98 season.

Simon is married to the mob and has no children. He drives a Porsch or Ferrari, depending which one he manages to open, and works as a deep under cover CIA agent within the Corleone Nostra family. Ah, should I have said that? Anyway, Running and Hiding are amongst his hobbies which is probably just as well now I've blown his cover. He once attended the National Hide and Seek championships but disappointingly only came third.
