Matt Lewis signed for Hinckley, initially for 1 months loan in August 2003, from Nationwide Kidderminster Harriers. After being recalled by the League club he was finally released for a 5000 fee in December 2003. The young forward had signed with Kidderminster in July 2001. He made 14 first team appearances, scoring 1 goal, but had played mainly in the under 18's, and on loan to other Dr Marten clubs Evesham United and Solihull Borough. He started at Coventry Marconi where he was spotted after scoring 52 goals in just one season for them. He recently also had a trial at Aston Villa.

Personal File:
Matt works for a travelling circus as a Shrew Tamer, and also sells the ice creams. He told me he once had a job as a Chesney Hawks impersonator, but apparently he wasn't the 'one and only' and had to quit after receiving death threats in a turf war with other Chesneylikes. In his spare time he throws dwarves and also collects used limbs to use in his 'life' sculptures. (...put the lotion back into the basket...)
