Tom signed for Hinckley in November 2002, originally on a loan basis then
permanent, from Nationwide Division 2 club Oldham Athletic. He joined Oldham
as a trainee and signed professional in August 2001. Unfortunately he never
made the break into the first team and became the victim of cost cutting
when he was on a list of 10 pro's to be released in October 2002. |

Tom is single and rides a unicyle. He is employed as a quality control tester
for doorbells. His job is to make sure they play the right tune when pressed.
Obviously someone else does the pressing, he just listens to the tune. When I
asked him about his hobbies, this is what he said:
"the first rule about goalkeeping is... don't talk about goalkeeping..." |
