| Past - Morton Titterton. No player was ever more committed and he's a really top bloke as well. | |
| Present - Tough to single one out, but I admire Andy Penny for his attitude (and he's a star with Liam the mascot!). | |

| Past - Nigel Clough - great vision and he showed speed of thought more than compensates for lack of pace. | |
| Present - Alan Shearer. He remains amongst the best strikers in the country, despite some horrendous injuries. | |
| Best and Worst Non-League ground visited? | |
| Best - Huish Park, Yeovil Town - superb facilities, passionate home support. | |
| Worst - Red Lion Ground, Blakenall - A complete dump, no atmosphere, huge slope, the weather was always crap when we went there. Any other reasons? | |
| Best and Worst League ground visited? | |
| Best - Old Trafford, Manchester United - takes some beating. | |
| Worst - Torquay United - though it was quite a few years ago. | |
| Best and Worst Hinckley game attented, and why? | |
| Best - Grays last season. I thought Weymouth in the previous round was good, but the win at Grays surpassed everything. Emotional, exciting, dramatic - what an afternoon! The on the way home Radio 5 announced we were the only non-league side definitely through to the second round at that moment and we got home to see the goals on Match of the Day. That day alone made worthwhile all the previous 20-odd years of support. | |
| Worst - Some of the old Atho games in the West Midlands League were pretty grim, but one United game that sticks in my mind is early in the second season we lost at home to Clevedon. We had Mark Clifton (on loan, fortunately his only game for us) playing, and I thought we must be better than this. | |
| Best and Worst League game attented, and why? | |
| Best - Went to see Liverpool v Arsenal title decider at Anfield in 1989. For the drama of the late winner, that game will be hard to beat. | |
| Worst - Forest v Sunderland early 80's. New Years Day, big crowd and Sunderland put 11 behind the ball to grab a 0-0. Alan Durban (Sun manager) said "if you want entertainment, go to the circus!" | |

| Hinckley United Wishlist (realistically!) | |
| The new ground is such a huge opportunity for the club. Middlefield Lane has run it's course and the new stadium gives us the opportunity to attract a whole new generation of fans to our club. | |
| Anything else about Hinckley United? | |
| There aren't many of us, but that doesn't mean we are any less committed than fans of any other club in the land. The away support (inspired by drummer boy Simon) is great, and we're now starting to make more noise at home too. | |
