| Past - Paul Hunter, wasn't a prolific goal scorer but his off the ball runs and general presence for opposition defences gave his striking partner plenty of opportunities. | |
| Present - Neil Cartwright, tireless running forward and back all game, never gives up on a ball, and still manages to get in a cross, mostly. | |

| Past - Glen Hoddle, excellent control and vision. | |
| Present - Paul Scholes, good vision and ability to use the secondary ball to great effect with a good eye for goal. | |

| Best- FA Trophy game versus Whitby Town. In United's first season we played Whitby Town at home in the FA Trophy. We went 0-1 down and had Morton Titterton sent off! The ten men came back to win 3-1 and though he wasn't a popular player it was Scott Machin's best game for United. | |
| Worst - League match versus Redditch United. Again in United's first season Redditch won the game 0-4 and we didn't even deserve to get no goals. | |
| Best and Worst League game attented, and why? | |
| Best - Liverpool versus Aston Villa, FA Premier League. Liverpool won 3-0 with goals from Robbie Fowler and Steve Macmanan, at probably the best form in their careers to date. | |
| Worst - Hull City versus Bradford City, Division 2. It was the last game of the season when Hull were relegated and Bradford were promoted. The home fans had been allocated the away terrace because Bradford wanted to bring so many supporters. Bradford won the game 3-2 but the result was insignificant, because there was fighting outside the ground, on the pitch before the game, during the game and after the game inside and out. It was the most hostile atmosphere I've ever seen at a football match. | |

| I go to Leicestershire County Cricket Club and watch the Sunday games when I can, though the kids have put a dent on this recently and don't get to as many games as I'd like. | |
| Hinckley United Wishlist (realistically!) | |
| With the Stadium complex almost completed, consolidation in the Conference North is a must, with even a chance of reaching the play-offs. I believe the crowds will increase and hope that the junior initiatives bring in the supporters that this club deserves. In short, I wish us to carry on our great journey upwards with more fans to witness and enjoy the adventure. | |
