| That's a pretty comprehensive choice in favour of our dear departed fat friend. Elvis lives on in our footballing hearts and we'd all like to see the team run out to a jazzed up version of A Little Less Conversation. Personally the 68 comeback tour was his best but there you go. Coming joint second is the classic from the disfunctional generation X that is Collapsed Lung. Classic that is until Pepsi or Coke or Bank's Mild (it's all brown to me) got hold of it, and turned it into the advertising 'gem' that it now is. Along with that tune joint second is taken by the amazingly dull Dario G and his rework of the France World Cup song Carnival de France. Astoundingly this rework sounds exactly the same with only a slight mixing of letters within the title. Synical? Could be. Fourth is substance abuse legend Phil Lynotts reminder for his mum to get the kettle on because he's finished his holiday in Ayia Napa and got plenty of washing to do, maybe. Closely following is closet communists ChuppaChomps (or is that a lollypop?) who are famous for one song and then throwing some water over Two Jags John Prescott, before getting back in their Limo's. Ooooh watch out everbody here comes the revolution. Surprisingly Fat Boy Slim is on par with Match of the Day, and then Bon Jovi keeping up the rear (it's all that long hair you know). Thankfully not one person voted for DJ Otzi and 2 lyric pile of crap. Who on earth bought it in the first place? Lastly, let's not forget our friend from the Sheepside of things and salute those big black and white oversize loon pants and crazy face paint. |
